Hello fellow scrappers!
Today I’m back with a double layout for Penelope Dee
and the gorgeous Be You Collection.

This Photo was last one for this group of friend, at their matric dance!

The background was created using Dusty Attic wire stencil with Nuvo expanding mousse – Tuscan gold. Fussy cut hexagons.

Using Red Pepper Alcohol ink from Tim Holtz – I enhanced be Original paper.
The title was embossed with Gold powder- and the rest were inked
with Red Pepper alcohol ink from Tim Holtz.
The handmade butterflies were coloured by using Alcohol inks –
Shell pink and Red Pepper from Tim Holtz.

The flowers are Prima, plus handmade.

Also used the Nuvo embossing pen and Gold powder around the edges of hexagons, as well as Brilliance- Galax Gold Dew drop chalk.

Don't lose the spark that makes you....YOU!

Once again I'm here...
To try encourage you with some ideas!

I found the photo in inspirational quotes on Pinterest.
I love it: Don't lose the spark that makes you....YOU!

Firstly,
I attached with clears gesso, the Tissue wrap paper
from Tim Holtz Idea-ology range.
Using the Dusty Attic Mandala stencil, stencil with heavy gesso white.

Then, I spilt (dropped) Distress spiced Marmalade, let dry!

Then using various different stamps... stamped!

For the Feather chipboard's I always paint white first,
then adding colour with Inks.

These are handmade butterflies,
which I inked with Alcohol inks -
Red Pepper; Sunshine Yellow and Sunset Orange.
These Daisies flowers are also Handmade!

Glass beads, I attached red paper first and then glued down.

For the title: YOU, I cut up from words
and create You on a tab!

I finally added gold netting and cream lace to finish off!

Study....

Hey, Hey...
I'm back today with my first impression of March Mood Board!

This photo tells a story of its own!!!
My friend who doesn't have children,
decided to compete with all the back to school photos on Facebook.

This is James (a Weimaraner) and he's not amused!!

To create the back ground, I used the Dusty Attic Keyboard Jumble stencil
with a scribble stencil with heavy gesso white!

I then dropped the Alcohol inks - Red Pepper and Sunset Orange - spraying alcohol to help spread them.

Using the Tim Holtz big Numbers
I painted with heavy gesso white
then spray Colour Bloom mist - Poppy Fields, let dry.

For the Titles I also painted with heavy gesso white.
I fussy cut suitcases, a ruler and locker
from Kaisercraft paper, found in my stash.

Lastly I added the metal ties, to complete the look!

Just Be Inspired!

Good morning fellow scrappers!
I'm back today using the new gorgeous range from Penelope Dee ~
Be You Collection.

I find inspiration from these two very inspirational women – Kyla and Candice.
For those that don’t know these two Ladies are the owners of SA scrap magazine – Scrap Affairs!!

The background was created with using damasks stencil,
fussy cut hexagons from Be Original and Be Brave papers.

Using Tissue wrap from Tim Holtz – Idea-ology and the doily stencil,
I created my own doily by applying French Rose – Nuvo Mousse.

Also used Numbers and pointing finger from the tissue wrap.

The title was painted with ginger Magic- Prima acrylic Sparks paint. The chipboard Bees were coloured by using Alcohol inks – Shell pink; Sunshine Yellow and Sepia by Tim Holtz.

The flowers were coloured using Rusty red – Prima- Acrylic Metallique paint. Lastly I also added lace, to add finishing touch.
