Using Blue Jeans stain and chipped Sapphire paint I created the back ground, coloured music paper as well as the Christmas tree chippies by Kiriche .
I also mixed white glitter in Grit pastes by Tim Holtz to create the snow effect on back ground and trees.
Boarded the photo using studio 490 white embossing paste.

Die-cut Deer's and Penelope Dee words, circle chippies - I used walnut stain and Prima sparkle paint.

I have itching to use real wood discs and got my chance!
Glued down with hot glue!

Wild & Free

I'm Back
This is my last DT project for Dusty Attic in 2017.

I must say I have had so much fun these last few months and feel extremely honoured to be part of this extremely talented team.
I am so looking forward to next year!!

Back to business...
I found this gorgeous photo on Pinterest and just had to use it!!
Even though I live in a hot climate this time of year, Christmas always reminds me of Snow, hot chocolate and warm fires!!!

I started with a blank canvas board, using Gathered twigs and walnut stain plus studio 490 metallic gold embossing paste. I then used studio 490 white embossing paste to created a snowy back ground.

White netting also helped with the snowy look.

Then using the Dusty Attic Doilies {which look like snowflakes}

painted white and sprinkled white glitter on while wet,
Die-cut white Poinsettia's and doilies, only painting the doilies with Distress Oxide - Crushed pistachio.

I looked to nature for my sticks and found them on a Pepper Tree. to stop the pepers from falling off I glued then with hot glue and once dry dusted with Nuvo Glimmer, to give the feeling of snow.

I boarded the photo with the white embossing paste and added more white netting.
For the title I used Perfect Pearls Gold

Products Used:
Prima Zeal and blown Flowers
Pepper Tree Sticks

I hope I have inspired some?
Happy scrapping
Merry Christmas

Freeze Frame

Hiya...
Back with more for Dusty Attic.
All these are based on the December mood board.
I'm just loving the colours for this month.

Here a altered tapestry ring, which I have been dying to try!
This is my brothers dog, Ori, and he loves the snow!

Using Penelope Dee paper...I wet the paper to fit into the ring and cut off excesses.
I then used heavy gesso and painted ring and dusted paper, adding some Tim Holtz walnut stain, as well as Prima Soft teal spray.

Then I added art stones with clear gesso

I took frame moulds and coloured using Nuvo Mousse coper.

I stuck down with hot glue.

Adding Fancy pants Christmas trees.

Products Used:
Prima Flowers, Gauze, Prima snow paste

Blessed to have you in my life!

Blessed to have you in my life!
Here’s a Mixed media page using Penelope Dee Feathered collection.

Photo is my brother and his wife.

To create the back ground, I applied Collage medium and Candy crackle to the Imagine it page, once dry, using a combination of All-Purpose inks-Blue Bayou and Tropical Lago, Tim Holtz re-inker distress Oxide-Cracked Pistachio and a dash of Walnut stain to create the back ground.

I used 3 doilies and also coloured with All-Purpose inks-Blue Bayou, Walnut stain and the third one I used coffee. For the words I dusted with Chestnut chalk. Using the same inks and Distress Oxide-Cracked Pistachio, I coloured my flowers. For the photos I chalked for a boarded. Using Clear Gesso I attached the art stones, and then added the gauze and metal embellishments.

Materials: I used Penelope Dee chippies, Penelope Dee flowers, gauze; drift wood, Prima art stones, paper doilies’, straws and metal embellishments.
