Love is Wet noses and sloppy kisses!

Hello dear scrappers,

I could not resist another layout with all the new beautiful chip boards!

This is me and my boy!
My daughter is doing photography and I'm often her subject
and in this instance my boy "Mac" wanted to be in on the action.
Which she captured beautifully!

To start of I painted my canvas dark blue, then took a wet wipe,
in a circular motion wiped off to get a lighter shade of blue.

I then stencilled with the Burlap stencil using heavy gesso.

I took wood looking paper and coloured it, using Distress oxide
 - Spiced Marmalade.
For the broken bits chip board I used sparks paint
- rich turquoise - copper and mermaid sparkle.
The triangles I painted white.

For the titles I used ColorBox - Aqua,
which was a bit to light, so after drying it
I used Distress Oxide - Broken China.
For the paw prints I used the copper with a touch of blue.

After everything was all dry,
I placed added my flower and angle hair - baby blue.

Tropical State of Mind!

I'm Back...
Friends just chilling!!

For this project I Incorporated all the colours of this months mood board.

I painted my wood white, adding sand to give texture and sanding the edges.
Wrapped string around the bottom half.

I then painted my little canvas with diluted green and blue paint.
I added real sea sand on the bottom half.
Wrapped string around the top half of the canvas.

Made tags out of a map and also made the palm tree out of normal leaves
just cutting one half of the leaf off. Then wrapped the wire with string holding them together.
I also included cocktail umbrellas.

For the all the chip boards I painted white first,
for the leaves I used green alcohol ink,
For the sea enemies I used Blue alcohol ink,
for the title Tropical is Blue alcohol ink and state of mind is pink paint.
Lastly, for the bubble chip board I added sand for texture.
I also included angle hair.

I placed and attached everything down as well as some metal shells
and art stones to complete the look.
Thanks for popping in to my blog!

Beautiful

Hello
Today I'm back with this months mood board inspiration for you!
This is my step-niece Mia and I just loved the little face she was doing!

I choose to use only two colours for my first canvas project!
I created my version of a dream catcher.

I painted my canvas pink first,
then using white gesso and crackle paste
on top, while the bottom layer was not dry.

Then splatted pink paint and used gold embossing powder
to create the back ground.

For the little canvas I painted dark green.
I used the new Kaisercraft range and covered my seven single LP.
I attached a crochet doily to a ring and on the one side attached all the ribbon
I placed pink paper underneath to make it stand out.

For all the  Dusty Attic NEW and Old chip boards,
I painted half with dark yellow and the other half with
Green - fair wings.
The word Beautiful is painted with dark pink.

Finally, I placed and attached everything down.

I hope you enjoyed popping in to my blog and that I have inspired you.
