Life is better with friends!

Hiya Peeps,

Last one for this month of February!

I found this photo on the Facebook Vintage history page.
Its so cute, whats not to scrap about it!!

So here in South Africa,
our scrappers are moaning that there is far to much Mixed Media,
well this is a scrapping page, that can...YES...
fit in an album!!! LOL

The back paper I distressed the edges and stencilled with
Tim Holtz distress inks, -Walnut and Vintage Photo.

I used normal string and then attached to my brown card stock.

I fussy cut the old paper from Penelope Dee - Wanderlust Collection.

The DA View Finder chip boards, I applied Prima Rust Effect Paste,
to create the desired look.

For the title, I applied bronze/gold embossing powder, which I over heated to create the bubbled effect.
I did create dimension, added green card stock; grass; bull clips;die cut clocks
and Dusty in bloom flowers, with others.

Great Outdoors!

Good morning Beautiful people,

I'm back today with Dusty Attic!

This is a mixed media layout with photos of the Cape Clawless Otter!
These photos were so apt for the February mood board.

For the back ground I painted Tim Holtz Distress crackle - clear rock candy paint
Once dry I added All-purpose Ink - Spring green, wiping excess of with a wet wipe and wiping all over.

I then stencilled, using Distress grid with Graphite past, after adding bronze Foil in places.

For all the DA Foliage chip boards I used Champagne Mist - All-Purpose ink, dropping Banana Cream over parts. To set it, I heat dried them.

I then included green netting; grass; leaves and Flowers. Oh and I cut up my non-slip matt.

Added black dots with Nuvo script pen.
