Sweethearts!

Me again...

So here is my final mixed media layout for this month!!!

This is my Daughter and her boyfriend at her Matric dance!

Using colour stock card, I tore a piece off and placed at the top of the page.
I stencilled with the Dusty - Demask, using heavy Gesso and
then the Clockwork using Prima Graphite paste.

Then added Ranger-Seedless Preserve ink, plus water {to help spread the paint} Pouring on to the page and guided the spill the way I wanted, then a touch of Prima colour bloom – Precious stone, to create the back ground.

For the Dusty Lace chippie I painted with Prima colour bloom–Precious stone and touched up the dry brushing white gesso on top. I then, touched up with Nuvo-Glimmer Paste- Amethyst purple.
I also sprayed the words with Ranger-Seedless Preserve ink and boarded with gold paint.

I also included a page from an old book, Lace, Metal bits and Dusty in bloom flowers plus handmade ones.
I splattered with gold paint to finish off the layout.

NOTES

Good morning beautiful people!

We had a Dusty Attic mini challenge to do a note book!
I love doing different little things, in other words right up my alley!!

First, I took a black note book and painted with white gesso.
I then placed all my Chippies and metal corner flourishes
and stuck down with heavy body gel. I used an old page and also placed a stuck down.

I then painted with white texture crackle paste, making sure not to cover my printed page completely and let dry.
(I find if you let dry naturally, one gets the most beautiful vintage type cracks. But you can dry with a heat gun!)
I then strayed Prima Color Bloom - Poppy Fields and stone
and to add contrast I used coffee. I also wanted a bit of shimmer so I used
Prima Sparks - Butterfly Spells.

Once, completely dry I placed and stuck down all Prima,
hand made flowers and metal embellishments.
I used Notes from the Tim Holtz range.

Escape!

Hey ya, scrappers!

Here’s another impressions of the October mood board!
A quick yet effective canvas to inspire you!

Using K Craft Glimmer mist –Sunshine Yellow,
plus water to help spread the paint,
I poured onto the canvas and swirled with a paint brush.

Then, I used Prima Rust paste yellow; mustard and a touch of red,
I painted the retro frame.

I found some roughly handmade paper dark brown and added hessian over. I then attached the frame and sanded the edges of my photo.

Finally, I added flowers, dried leaves and red berries.

Timeless Moments!

Hello friendly scrappers!

Today I’m back with my impressions of the October mood board!
Of witch I hope to inspire you!

A canvas, mixed media!

Using the new Nuvo Mica Mist- Nebula Blue, K Craft Glimmer mist – jade plus Prima Rust pastes- Yellow and red, I created the back ground using water to help spread the paints. With Metal plate I stencilled, cascading down the canvas, with Graphite texture paste.

Then, I used Prima texture crackle paste.

For all the cog chippies,I cut up the industrial hearts and used Prima Sparks Raven Black paint and sprayed with the Nuvo over and added touches of the rust paste in places.

And on the Hanging vines I used the K Craft spray.

Finally, I added dried roots, clocks and metal cogs.
